We took to the streets of Washington DC to express our outrage, concern, disappointment, confusion, etc. on the constant police brutality and recent killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile. Both men were black and killed by police that seems to be an all too familiar situation in this country. The environment was peaceful and our voices were loud. We marched from the front of The White House to the steps of The Capitol where we were met by members of Congress. Rep. John Lewis even spoke to us.
I feel like we have marched, we have protested, we have shouted, we have demanded...... but we need change and the questions are when and how? - Don't let this become yesterday's news.
If you didn't attend the "Justice for All" march whether in New York or Washington DC then you missed out on a crowd full of strong, motivated, and determined people urging change! I couldn't wait to take my camera to this special day in history.
A look into some of my photo sessions...
